Technology in the Classroom
During my internship I did my best to maintain a class web page. Within this web page, students could find the classroom expectations, assignments and due dates. A calendar was also included on the page so that I could update what we covered in class that day. The purpose of the site is for students who may be sick or out of town as well as for parents to stay on the same page. I think it worked great and I would love to do it again in another class.

Another program I had an opportunity to use was Jing. It is a program that allows you to record your activities on your computer screen and speak about what you are doing. I used this to explain the basics of creating a wikispace to a student who was very ill and missing a lot of classes. The link to the video is here.
