Tech Task #7
My last tech task requires me to reflect upon my blogging experience. To start off with, I would like to say that I do like blogging, as well as reading other peoples blogs. I do however, find it hard to find time to do it everyday or even every second day for that matter. I tried my best to get something done every week. One thing I don’t like about reading other people’s blogs is when they are long. This sounds really bad, but I hate reading, and I my mind gets distracted really easily, so I can’t focus to read the long blogs.
I think one way to improve the blogging for the class is to give more ideas or topics to blog about. I know I didn’t really want to just blog about my daily life or thoughts to much because it was supposed to be directed towards technology or education. It was usually finding things to talk about that prevented me from blogging as often as I should have been.
One blog I loved was Rachelles. It was about Cyberbulling and she discussed the idea of teaching using rules of poker. We should be trying to send out students home each day with more chips than they came with. Its a really good blog.
I will continue to blog after this class. The topics will probably begin to vary a lot, but I enjoyed having the experience and becoming more knowledgeable about blogging. I am excited to finish my “blogfolio” because I think it will be an awesome tool for interviews.
