I agree with the first comment. There is always going to be some product that is being studied for its effects, especially causing disease. But I figure by all the food we eat that we shouldn't, environmental stress and other factors, we might as well not worry about every little detail. If this chemical causes cancer don't buy the plastic it is made with. Also, a note on cigarettes, the government makes a profit from those off the taxes...and you know even if they do cause disease, someone is making a lot of money. Hello! We have been using plastic water bottle for a long time and yes they ma be harmful toxins, but we’re still here. Our grandparents would have went through a lot more than a plastic water bottle; they hauled water from a river, used extremely harmful chemicals in the field etc. Society today over reacts about every little.
